We’re excited to welcome Fabrizio Magliocca, Director of Business Transformation, Innovation and Quality at Aeroporti di Roma, to the FutureTravel Summit this October in Barcelona.
Aeroporti di Roma manages Rome’s two airports, Fiumicino and Ciampino, Italy’s main gateway for international travel. Fabrizio’s career has covered operations, finance and strategy. He led the Airport Operations Center at Fiumicino, then moved on to business transformation programs, customer experience initiatives and investments in mobility solutions. He is also Head of Operations at ADR Ventures, the group’s corporate venture capital arm. That puts him where critical infrastructure meets the startup world, and his focus is on finding, piloting and scaling technologies that change how airports run and how people travel.
That background fits the question behind his panel well. Many big organisations say they want to innovate, but few can say what it costs, where it should sit in the company, or how they would know if it worked. Fabrizio joins other panelists who lead innovation inside their organisations for “What Makes Corporate Innovation Work? Views from the Inside.” They’ll talk about how ideas get funded and prioritised, how teams move them past the first test and into the core business, and how innovation holds its place next to the daily pressure to deliver results. They’ll also share what has helped, what has slowed them down, and how they work with startups and partners.
Join us in Barcelona on October 29th to see it live!
