As Managing Director Expedia ANZ, Georg Ruebensal has overall responsibility for Expedia’s businesses in Australia & New Zealand, with full P&L ownership and strategic direction.
Part of the original launch team for Expedia.com.au in 2005, Georg moved into an regional APAC role in 2006, setting up the Expedia Inc. operations (for all three brands) for all APAC markets.
Prior to moving into the MD ANZ role, Georg was part of the AirAsia Expedia joint venture as their head of operations.
Before joining Expedia, Georg have held multiple consulting (Six Sigma) as well as sales and marketing roles in the airline industry (i.e. GM Sales & Marketing for Air Canada in Germany).
